The IMO is a very large ensemble of improvisers, founded in September 2010. It brings together usually between 35 and 60 musicians from all over Switzerland and beyond. The orchestra aims to develop listening and collective play, both in free improvisation as directed orchestra. The IMO is the reflection of both a music scene and a network of musicians. It is a space for exchange and sharing.
